Meet Lockie..A blooming star of tomorrow
Remember when!!  I saw this little boy slide out of his dads car.  He reached into the car, pulled out a guitar the size of him...held it just like a pro as he followed his dad to the shop.  The look on his face as he concentrated his every movement...his hands strumming away at the strings.
I approached his dad and asked if I could photograph him.
Lockie's mum rang excited.  Welll here they are. I wanted to take this opportunity to share with you a special moment
that made me smile.   Thanks Lockies Mum & Dad
Supporting The Community...Did You Know...
*For the those who know me I have represented Australia for many years in a sporting industry.  I have recently taken time out to study to teach some time later this year.  Sponsorship is something athellets require in most cases to help them to achieve their dream.  In the past I have helped local Laura Gover a kick boxer by donating my time and photographing her portraits that were auctioned at events.

*Kirami Nursing Home.....A wonderful place taking care of our ederly.  A dog show was held and once again over 20 entries was entered for the prize of pet portraits.  All monies raised was donated to "The Friends Kirami"  Money put to good used to make the patrons more comfortable.

*The "Starlight Foundation"....A young fatally ill girls wish was to become a photographer.  The management of Harvey Norman and myself is making this young girls dream come true.  Harvey Norman donated one of the latest digital SLR Cameras and I will help her learn the understandings of becoming a good photographer

*Hervey Bay Tafe College.... Each year our college releases new hairdressers into the industry.  The on campus hair salon and expierenced teachers
teach teenagers the steps of becoming Great Hairdressers.  I have  donated my time photographing models before and after shots used in a competitions each year  (Examples on my Portrait Various link)
I would like to thank our Tafe College for their wonderful work of the education stepping stone for my Son.  The valuable knowledge and "Hands on Approach" of their mechanic workshop found him place in a large Hydraulic Firm in Brisbane.

*Rspca....Being a lover of animals I was touched by the stories of the people who look out for our four legged friends. Unfortunately the cost of employing such wonderful people who seek out badly misstreated animals ,heal and then find them homes  has become a costly venture.  A fellow from Rspca contacted me and ask if I could help.  I drove to Bundaberg and saw a dog who was rescued by this wonderful man. The dog had been hit by a car and was left to dye on the side of the road. His back legs were so badly smashed even te owner left him to die.  A person taking a daily walk reported what they saw to the Rspca.  A member from the Rspca  rushed to the scene and took the dog to the vet.  The bill was well over $3000...but this beautiful big black labradore  was blessed as the rescurer fell in love with him...well the story goes on and many more like it .
I photographed the dog and his new owner...well the photo "Speaks for Itself"   Many funds are needed to ensure the Rspca exists.  A calandar has since been made with photos of dogs that have been saved by these specail people.  All proceeds go towards funding such a wonderful team.

C Two Maryborough Weddings
Two Rainy Days!!

Personally myself, I love cloudy days.   The beautiful filtered
light adds a softness to a photo.  It enables a photographer
to move into an area where you would normally not. Harsh
lighting from the sun tends to burn a photo and adds a hot
spot blowing out detail.
The disadvantage of course ...rain!!.        On both days of the pictured weddings I was prepared with umbrellas and towels.
During breaks in the rain  we used towels for seated poses and of course the umbrellas to stop the rain ruining hair styles
and wetting clothing.
